Can legal action be taken against you if you post incriminating or dirty photos of a vindictive ex-fiance?

This woman has ruined my life, and just keeps right on making it miserable. I have photos, video, and her own writings that would make her look like a total ***. Could I face criminal or civil charges if I was to post them on the internet to get back at her for destroying me?
