I used to be in a sorority and now i want to join another?

I am in a NPC sorority but i want to joing a NPHC sorority since i am going to another school. How would NPHC know that i was once in a NPC soriority? I know its no allow how would pwople know if you dont say nothing about it? Do they do a background check on each girl?
