My puppy has soft stool ALL THE TIME?

I had a dog that did that before. I had been feeding her dry dog food but decided to give her some canned food one day and I noticed it was really soft. So I stayed away from the canned food for dogs and only fed her the dry dog food. It went back to formed stools.
