Do you agree with Rush Limbaugh's ertion that the Great Depression was cured by World War 2? ?

No, I don't agree with Rush. It's a lot of Bull. He has no idea how many people would have literally starved to death between the 1929 market crash and when we entered the war in '42 without the WPA programs that got people back earning a paycheck. All that "free market" crap he talks about correcting it self wouldn't have worked back then because half the population would have been dead before it kicked in waiting for the war to start. The New Deal era built much of the infrastructure that is falling apart now---bridges, roads, parks, federal buildings, etc.
