Do you really vote according to the faith of a candidates?

Is it not ironic to drift to religions always for the favour of it?. The politicians will use religion to woo voters. They will do unreligious things - like 1. sending American children to die in an unwarranted war. 2. Bombing or creating atmosphere for death and destructions in IRAQ. 3. Ripping off America from gas hike/profits and war contracts while crying woes about gas price. 4. Being pro-war and at the same time pro-life. Is it not time to vote for someone with knowledge and capabilities to deal with our mordern world? Should knowledge based critical thinking capability of a leader be a determinant for casting votes? Should we not be veiwing resume of each candidates(that of the presidentials candidates and on the web) to decide?
