Liberals please answer me this, Justify the "Fairness Doctrine"?

I'm a liberal (sort of), but I think the "Fairness Doctrine" is as asinine as it is unconstitutional. To me, it just shows that the Dems are scared of the big bad Republicans because they can sling the mud better than the Dems. Let's face it, guys like Rush and Hannity are absolute f*^king morons, but they have every right to be that way and the idiot Americans that listen to them have every right to do so.
