Why does Fox News treat its audience like rednecks, but MSNBC / CNN don't treat their audiences like gangstas?

Fox usually talks down to its audience as if it's aiming for the lower, working cl, White vote across rural America....whereas CNN and MSNBC could do the same by showing -shakin' Black women and talking in street jive on the air on occasion, but instead they play up to their audience's intelligence, why is why their ratings are lower. Why the disparity? Should MSNBC and CNN start showing rap videos to compete with Fox's guests like Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy?
